Audi Introduces Web-Based Music Streaming Services for New Models

Expanding its web based services; Audi has decided to introduce online media streaming service from Audi Connect. The new feature will be available in the revised Audi A6 and A7 Sportback models and also in the new Audi TT Coupe and Audi TT Roadster. Audi announced that to use this service customers must have the MMI infotainment plus navigation system and the Audi connect equipment option installed.

Once the users have installed the free app on their smartphone they can make use of online media streaming offered on the Napster music portal and the Aupeo! radio service. This new service will offer Audi drivers the facility to listen to almost 20 million music tracks and also listen to thousands of audio books in the MP3 format. Users will have to connect their smartphone with their MMI system through Wi-Fi. Once they have connected the system the controls will be fully integrated making it easier and convenient for the users.
