Cadillac to Heat Up the LA Auto Show with Cadillac ATS-V Coupe

Cadillac has decided to burnout the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show with the teaser video of their new 2016 Cadillac ATS-V Coupe that will have superior power and performance specifications and will put some of the top coupes to shame. The automaker has announced that the new coupe will be available on display at the LA Auto Show along with the much anticipated 2016 ATS-V sedan. The new coupe will be something that Cadillac has been working on and will be an attempt to take-over the coupe category from top contenders like BMW M4.

The teaser video confirms that the all new Cadillac coupe will be powered by the twin-turbocharged 3.6 liter V6 engine that is currently fitted in CTS Vsport and XTS Vsport models. The engine has the capability to produce around 425 horsepower which brings it closer to BMW M3 and M4. Cadillac has also worked on the engine sound and the video clearly indicates that Cadillac has managed to get the sound right. While there is no official price for the coupe, but it is expected that the ATS-V sedan will be priced at around $60,000, so prices for the coupe will be usually on the higher side of it.
