Lotus Brings a new Breed of Motorbikes: Simplicity and Light Incorporated

Lotus has recently released pictures of its latest breed of motorbikes. To be called C-01, the latest bike seems to be inspired by the Tron Legacy motorbikes.

The images give motorbike lovers a sneak-peak of the hyper-creative yet simple superbike. As soon as you look at the prototype, the word “Light Cycle” comes to your mind. The British company did consult the designer of the light cycle from the movie “Tron”.

To ensure the design gets carved into a perfect reality, Lotus has licensed Kodewa for its production, while appointing Daniel Simon to design the prototype. Kodewa has also built Lotus’s Le Mans racer. The latest breed combines breathtaking looks with heart-pounding performance. The prototype encompasses a 1995cc 2-cylinder 4-stroke V-Twin engine that effortlessly creates 200 horsepower. Mighty engine specs accompany a 6-speed transmission ensuring that you get an unprecedented superbike experience every time you ride it. Better if you use Yuasa motorcycle batteries for a trouble-free ride.

The bike offers a fuel capacity of 10.5 liters, adequate to give you the ride of your life.

The price and availability of the superbike have not yet been revealed; however, primarily only 100 C-01s would be produced in a range of special designs to make each of them exclusive. What’s even more exciting is that you can design one of your own.
