McLaren is all set to set the stage on fire at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show where they will debut the all new 650S. However, in a surprising move the British automaker also decided to drop the teaser of their new 675LT which will also be displayed at the same show. McLaren mentioned that they are going to introduce the new 675LT which will be a higher version of 650S. The automaker also said that the word LT does not stand for lightweight, but for LongTail as it is inspired by the McLaren F1 GTR of 1997.
While McLaren has not provided more information about the brand new 675LT, but it will certainly be better than the 650S and probably will have more horsepower under the hood. McLaren said that the 675LT’s longer end should help the car to increase downforce and therefore speed up the performance exceptionally. It is assumed that the all new 675LT will incorporate the V8 engine to deliver superior performance.
