Mercedes Benz Reaches 17 Million Facebook Fans Milestone

Social media has changed the way people communicate and how big and small companies do business and stay in touch with their fans and loyal customers. German automaker Mercedes Benz today has reached a milestone of 17 million fans on Facebook. To thank their supporters, loyal customers and fans Mercedes Benz decided to come up with an art installation made entirely of tape as a thankful gesture to all the love and loyalty they have received. The automaker said that they are really grateful to the people who have stayed on the company’s Facebook page and allowed them to reach this milestone.

The tape art installation offers a vivid image of the new Mercedes Benz AMG GT that is powered by twin turbocharged 4.0 liter V8 engine. The art installation is put up in the AMG Private Lounge in Affalterbach, Germany. This is also an attempt by the German automaker to come up with interesting viral videos that can circulate across many other people’s account and get them to like the Facebook page of Mercedes Benz. For the company, this page is a better way to come up with more promotions and options. The time lapse video is a great way to celebrate the milestone in a style.
