American business tycoon and bespoke car manufacturer, James Glickenhaus will unveil the SCG 003 racing car in the grand Geneva Motor Show 2015. Coming from the house of Ferrari Enzo, this super car will be available in two versions, the SCG003C (Competizione) track car and the SCG003S (Stradale) road-going model. Additionally, this Le Mans prototype look-alike will also compete in Nurburging 24 Hours in May.
Inspired by the Honda racing engines, the SCG003C (Competizione) racer, will be driven by a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 (developed by Autotecnica Motori), producing 530bhp at 6800rpm and 516lb ft of torque at 4500rpm. This bespoke creation from Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus weighs 1350kg with a 49:51 weight distribution split, which is carried by Dunlop 18in alloy wheels. The manufacturer has paid great heed to the lightweightedness and aerodynamics of this stylish racer, by building it around a carbon fiber monocoque chassis.
Buyers will have a choice to opt for a twin-turbocharged V12 engine for the road-going version. No words yet about the performance of these flyers but they are expected to be carrying a price tag of £1.6 million for the road car, and £2.35m for the racing version (with an addition of £750,000 premium).
