The sole aim of Prancing Horse team at the design of Laferrari was to attain a perfect weight distribution, precisely fifty-nine percent at the rear and a compact wheelbase. Thus, the car’s masses lies between the two axles and very close to floor to reduce its centre of gravity and in so doing ensure compact dimensions and dynamic handling. Some of the exterior features comprise front and rear Pirelli P-Zero tyres, front diffusers, guide vane on the body, rear diffusers, rear spoilers, sharp and downward-sloping nose and a very low bonnet which emphasises its muscular wheelarches, all of which combine to produce downward force needed without compromising total drag coefficient.
